Dr. Alysa Nguyen is a Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist who provides integrative, root-cause care for skin conditions, digestive health, and hormonal balance. She is a Certified Root Cause Dermatology Practitioner, with advanced training in addressing chronic skin conditions by evaluating factors such as gut health, hormones, inflammation, and lifestyle influences.
Dr. Nguyen earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She then completed her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University. Her clinical training included a rotation at Shanghai TCM Hospital, where she worked alongside physicians in gynecology, internal medicine, and traumatology.
She has additional training in bio-identical hormone therapy, thyroid and autoimmune conditions, fertility support, and integrative approaches to chronic illness. She works with patients across hormonal life stages, including PMS, perimenopause, and menopause, and addresses how hormones influence skin, energy, and overall health.
